Hockey surround fencing is essential for hockey ball retention. End sections are typically 3000mm (10ft) high rising to 4500mm or higher behind the goal areas. The pitch sides can be supplied at lower heights for spectator viewing.
Should the need for any other height be required this will pose no problem as the steelwork is manufactured in our own South coast fencing works ensuring flexibility in design and construction.

- Heights - Hockey pitches are typically 3000mm - 4000mm - 4500mm or higher depending on the project.
- If considering a spectator or warm up area, then we recommend separating from the main pitch with a 1.2m high barrier fence.
- Hollow section steel support posts finished Galvanised only or galvanised and Polyester Powder coated to a standard RAL colour. Common colours green RAL 6005 & black RAL 9005
- Pedestrian access gates.
- Double leaf equipment and emergency vehicle access gates.
- SAPCA specification fencing
- A must for hockey fencing is a minimum 200mm high treated softwood timber kickboard, this board is fixed to the bottom of the fencing to protect the hockey ball from damage.
- Please note standard fencing manufactured to support open mesh / link is unsuitable for attaching windbreak / advertising netting. If you require a suitable fence system please mention it when enquiring.
