A message from Petersfields Major.
This morning, in one of my final public acts as Town Mayor, I had the great pleasure to finally present to Mr John R D Corrie, of JB Corrie Ltd., the Town Mayor’s medal for Services to the Community (Economy & Philanthropy). A well deserved and long-overdue recognition to the contribution made by this man, his predecessors and his company to the welfare of Petersfield. As with all this year’s recipients, a true honour for me to recognise such amazing people of our town.
Established in 2011, the Town Mayor’s Medal is an important civic recognition of community service in Petersfield. At the discretion of the Town Mayor, they are only awarded for the highest level of community service and enrichment.
