Product specifications
The standard Corrie single leaf access gate is complete with a holed slide-latch that can be secured with a keyed padlock or a combination padlock (padlock supplied by others).
The locks can be upgraded as follows:
- A lever-handle locking mechanism inclusive of key to unlock / lock the entrance gates.
- Coded manual digital locks allow club members to use the same entry code. The codes can be easily changed to suit your requirements. This type of lock is usually combined with a gate self-closing unit to ensure the area is closed to anyone without the access code.
- Token lock entry. A token is given out to individuals who are allowed access by placing the token in the lock. Once they leave the area they are unable to gain access again without another token. This type of lock is best combined with a self-closing unit to ensure the area is closed when players leave the area.
- Electronic key fob or card entry. Usually combined with self closing units and a magnetic lock. Mains power is required to power the entry system.
- Often a gate with an entry system will require additional steel work / half moon / cladding to protect the lock and prevent opportunists from gaining entry.
- Self closers - gates can be supplied with self closing units, these will close the gate after opening to keep the area secure at all times.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
If a double leaf entry gate is required and fitted with a keyed or digital lock, it is important to lock the female leaf, (side without the lock), in the closed position using a lockable drop bolt.
