From our manufacturing plant based in Southern England, Corries are able to manufacture and supply full or part surrounds to suit your individual sports fencing project.
Ideal for larger ball sports, the twin bar rigid panel system consists of twin horizontal wires and a single vertical wire, combined to create a robust welded fencing panel. These panels can be supplied in a 8/6/8 or a lighter 6/5/6 format generally in a 200mm x 50mm grid. These panels are secured to suitable hollow section posts, with single leaf and double leaf gates to match.
For additional strength, the panels can be made up fully or in part with additional twin horizontal wires, to a 50mm x 66mm grid. This mesh is used for high use areas (behind goals etc) and is recommended as a football rebound fence.
For a hockey surround a pressure treated timber kickboard is bolted to the bottom of the fencing to protect the hockey ball from damage.

Posts
Posts are manufactured from rectangular hollow section, with panels secured to the posts with clips or with a full length clamp strip and security headed bolts.
- Full length posts for setting in concrete foundations.
- Panel length base plated posts for bolting to existing surfaces.
- Bespoke length posts for bolting to existing retaining walls.

Wire Diameters

- 6/5/6 = 2 x 6mm thick welded wires set at 200mm horizontal centres sandwiching a 5mm vertical welded wire set at 50 mm centres.
- Finish galvanised and polyester powder coated to any standard RAL colour. Standard colours green RAL 6005 and black RAL 9005 – many other colours available

Multi-Panel Heights

Please note standard fencing manufactured to support open mesh / link is unsuitable for attaching windbreak / advertising netting.
