Stainless Steel Gate Safety Restrainer

The JB Corrie Stainless Steel Gate Restrainer is a simple but highly effective safety device designed to help prevent swing gates from falling in the event of hinge failure.

Suitable for box-section swing gates, the restrainer provides an additional safety connection between the gate and gate post. It is particularly important where a falling gate could pose a serious risk to pedestrians, vehicles or surrounding property.

The gate restrainer can be retrofitted to existing gates and is suitable for gates of any colour, providing a neat and unobtrusive safety solution.

Installation

Installation is quick and straightforward:

1. Drill a 13mm diameter hole through the gate.
2. Drill a corresponding 13mm diameter hole into the gate post.
3. Push the plastic bushes into the drilled holes.
4. Insert the stainless steel end stops through the bushes.
5. Check that the restrainer is correctly positioned and allows the gate to operate freely.

No specialist fittings or complicated installation are required.
