SITE MANAGER

The company is seeking to recruit a Site Manager to assist with a project in the Argyll & Bute Area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join a well-established business, which specialises in perimeter security to the Utility, Construction and Defence sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with the Project Manager in Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project.
  • Ensuring the Client’s Specifications and requirements are met.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance.

JOB ROLE/DUTIES (Not limited to but including):

  • Managing the day to day running of the work on site
  • Motivate and lead others to successfully deliver the project
  • Plan, allocate and supervise labour resources
  • Organise deliveries and logistics on site
  • Day to day management of site plant
  • Regular and constructive liaison with clients.·
  • Implementing RAMS, Permits, Daily Tool Box Talks
  • Recording work carried out on site
  • Completing daily timesheets for all site staff
  • Making safety Inspections and ensuring site safety at all times
  • Maintaining Quality Control Procedures
  • Work towards achieving departmental targets and objectives.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated approach
  • Experience in a similar role preferable
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Possess exceptional communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office

Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a talented individual who possess an expert knowledge on construction costs and contracts and has a proven ability for overseeing construction projects, managing risks, and controlling costs.

Qualifications / Experience

Reporting directly to the Managing Director this exciting role will be to ensure the commercial objectives of the business goals are met and your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building, managing & maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and site staff
  • Maintaining financial control of projects including monthly valuations, job costing reviews and final accounts
  • Assist in the commercial activities of the business and provide support/advice in this regard to the Projects Managers as required
  • Prepare on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews
  • Complete and submit project documentation and correspondence within agreed timeframes

To be considered for the role, you must have the following

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous Quantity Surveyor experience
  • Quantity Surveyor qualification
  • Undergo Basic Disclosure, Security checks and drugs and alcohol screening

A Full Drivers Licence is also essential.

Skills

Applicants must have good numeracy skills, be strong in the use of Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident and have a real focus on cost and quality

The company is seeking to recruit a Contracts Supervisor based at our Scottish Office to assist with projects throughout Scotland and the Isles

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join a well-established business, which specialises in perimeter security to the Utility, Construction and Defence sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out Site surveys and preparing information for estimates.
  • Management of contracts, working to achieve projected margins, programme, and client’s expectations.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance.

JOB ROLE/DUTIES (Not limited to but including):

Fence Erector’s Mate –Amesbury 

We are seeking to employ a fence erector’s mate, on a permanent basis, based in Amesbury area ideally, to join our existing installation team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive attitude to work and colleagues. This position would suit a person with a desire to work out doors, and is coupled with early mornings. The successful applicant will have to work as part of a team.

A driving licence, a CSCS card, and other health and safety qualifications would be advantageous but not essential. A basic knowledge of electrical fencing would also be helpful.

The duties are to install high quality security fences at various sites around the UK. Training and guidance will be provided. The work will at times involve working, and staying, away from home, transport will be provided. Applicants should be prepared to undergo security and CRB checks, and drugs and alcohol screening.

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our team in Petersfield, Hampshire. You will be responsible for handling sales enquires through to providing the quote and basic after sales support

Sales Administrator, the role:

  • Providing clients with exceptional level of customer service
  • Answering and dealing with incoming calls
  • Answering emails, providing quotes
  • Data entry – processing of quotes to orders
  • General office administration duties

Sales Administrator, the person:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) including Math’s and English
  • At least one year experience in Customer Service role, preferably within a technical environment
  • Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial
  • Highly organized and strong prioritization skills with a “can do” attitude

MIG Welder Vacancy – Petersfield Site August 2021

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manufacture steel fence components and gates by MIG welding
  • Able to fabricate using all tools: saws, grinders, punch machines
  • Able to read engineering drawings
  • Able to use measuring equipment
  • Ensure sound weld joints and good cosmetic finish.
  • Sanding \ Grinding components or assemblies to remove splatter, and to ensure the optimal fit of components for onward finishing
  • Monitor all welding processes and ensure absence of any shrinkage and distortion to materials.
  • Any other reasonable duties

Physical Requirements

This role will include lifting of steel components as well as standing for long periods of time whilst manual MIG welding.

Working hours: 39 hours per week Monday – Thursday

Pay: £22,000 per annum and occasional overtime

A Full UK Driving Licence is required.  CSCS card, and other health and safety qualifications would be an advantage.

Required for Work throughout South of England, into London and through the Midlands due to increased work load and expansion, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the country’s leading Fencing Contractors.
Candidates should be prepared to stay away from home when necessary but this is not a fixed requirement.
CSCS card and a Full UK Driving licence are essential
Experience working on Utility Sites would be an advantage
Transport, Tools and PPE will be provided
