TRAINEE FENCE INSTALLERS  PETERSFIELD Feb 2020

JB Corrie are fencing specialists with a proud heritage that stretches back for more than one hundred years. The company is a family run business, and prides itself on supplying and delivering a quality assured product and service.

Due to continued growth the company is seeking to recruit Trainee Fence Installers on a permanent basis, to join our existing installation teams based at our Petersfield Office in Hampshire

This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidates to learn a trade and join a well established business, which specialises in perimeter security to the Utility, Construction and Defence sectors.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude and work safely as part of a team. This position would suit a person with a desire to work outdoors.

The duties are to install high quality security fences at various sites around the UK. Training and guidance will be provided. This will involve staying away from home, as required.

Applicants should be prepared to undergo security and Basic Disclosure checks and drugs and alcohol screening.

A Full UK Driving Licence, CSCS card, and other health and safety qualifications would be an advantage but not essential.

Contracts Manager (Feb 2020)

Due to continued growth the company is seeking to recruit a Contracts Manager based at our Scottish Office.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join a well-established business, which specialises in perimeter security to the Utility, Construction and Defence sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Carry out Site surveys and preparing information for estimates.
  • Management of contracts, working to achieve projected margins, programme, and client’s expectations.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance.

JOB ROLE/DUTIES (Not limited to but including): 

  • Plan, allocate and supervise labour resources
  • Regular and constructive liaison with clients.
  • Assist with the generation of new business, clients, and enquiries.
  • Provide input into estimate breakdown.
  • Assist in procuring materials for contracts
  • Preparing all RAMS for contracts
  • Resource required plant for contracts
  • Negotiate and prepare interim / final payment applications.
  • Attend regular Contract Meetings.
  • Work towards achieving departmental targets and objectives.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated approach.
  • Experience in a similar role preferable but not essential.
  • Possess excellent people skills.
  • Possess exceptional communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Practical with a hands on approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS Card Holder
