Hockey Pitch Fencing

J B Corrie hockey pitch fencing is simple, cost efficient and durable.

The main fabric of the fence being roll format welded mesh, which when fixed to multiple high tensile line wires with stainless steel clips forms a stable and secure perimeter solution. All meshes and associated fittings are supported on box section steel posts in sizes to suit height. Most fences are installed to 3m high with an uplift to 4.5 or 5m high at the goal areas. Should the need for any other height be required this will pose no problem as all steelwork is manufactured in our own Petersfield works ensuring flexibility in design and construction.

Hockey fences need to be completed at the base with a treated softwood sawn kickboard usually 50 mm thick x 200 mm high. This softwood timber kick board is there to protect the hockey ball from damage caused by fitting the fence at low levels.

Hockey pitches sometimes incorporate spectator or warm up areas, these areas are commonly separated from the main pitch with a 1.2m high barrier fence. The J B Corrie solution – Corrie Rail – is an aesthetically pleasing and strong barrier, follow Corrie Rail link from the menu on the left for further details.
